Training on Principles of Risk Analysis presented for PAHO to Ministries of Food and Agriculture Participants

Course Description
Dr. Clare Narrod, along with Drs. William Hallman, Fernando Sampedro Parra and Margarits Corrales, provided training for PAHO to 20 participants in the Ministries of Food and Agriculture from the Bahamas and Guyana. The “Training on Principles of Risk Analysis” was held via Zoom November 23-December 17, 2021 with the objective of strengthening the skills of government officials in reference to risk analysis principles such as:
- Food safety risk analysis framework and country regulatory process
- Major aspects of food safety risk management
- Food safety risk assessment methodology
- Risk base inspection
- Food safety risk communication
