ILSI North America Food Microbiology Committee Research Roundtable

Dr. Jianghong Meng was invited to participate in the Research Roundtable by ILSI North America Food Microbiology Committee on September 9, 2020. ILSI North America is a nonprofit scientific organization that brings together scientists from government, academia and industry to advance food safety and nutrition science for the benefit of public health. The Research Roundtable has provided a forum to discuss current food microbiological issues among scientists and the committee members. The 2020 meeting was to determine the research gaps in microbial food safety. It was held virtually due to the pandemic. Dr. Meng gave a presentation on Advancing Microbial Food Safety through Whole Genome Sequencing Technologies.
