ComBase is the world’s largest and freely-accessible database that describes how pathogens and spoilage organisms respond to diverse food environments. ComBase is a collaboration between the University of Tasmania-Tasmanian Institute of Agriculture and the US Department of Agriculture-Agricultural Research Service. At the conclusion of the webinar, participants will understand how to navigate ComBase features, locate and interpret data records, apply predictive models to estimate microbial growth and inactivation, and donate data to ComBase.
